Take Action to Defend the Guard

The Kentucky Defend the Guard Act is currently in the House Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Protection Committee, where it must pass by a majority vote to move forward in the legislative process.

Residents of the state should take the following steps to help the bill advance.

Reach out to Chair Bobby McCool at 502.564.8100 / bobby.mccool@kylegislature.gov to request a hearing for HB141. Express your support for moving the bill forward.

Call each member of the Committee. Let them know you support HB141 and encourage them to vote in favor.
