New Hampshire House Bill 225 (HB225) would exclude a Central Bank Digital Currency from being used as legal tender in the state. It’s currently in the House Commerce and Consumer Affairs committee, where it will need a hearing and executive session to move forward in the legislative process. An “Ought to Pass” recommendation from the committee will help ensure the bill passes the full House.
